We’re extremely proud to offer for sale this stunning and possibly unique Girard-Perregaux.
The case is crafted in 18k gold and was produced by the renowned case maker Bräuchi & Humbert in La Chaux‑de‑Fonds, one of the historic centers of Swiss watchmaking.
With a 35 mm case, this piece feels remarkably large for a vintage watch, perfectly showcasing its beautifully pure dial. It features a subtle brushed finish, an elegant Girard‑Perregaux signature, and refined indexes. Nothing excessive, just perfect balance and timeless design.
The case has a very distinctive profile: slightly fuller around 3 and 9 o’clock, while remaining thinner at 12 and 6 o’clock. Its textured finish also evokes the aesthetic of the famous Macri pieces from Buccellati, giving the watch an unusual and highly sophisticated presence.
The watch is running perfectly and powered by a mechanical movement that appears to be the from the Peseux 7001 family.
